THE LIGHTGUN

This is my lightgun. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my lightgun is useless. Without my lightgun, I am useless. Yadda yadda. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. Blah blah blah. Count da shells, sucka.
All right, this article is to demonstrate the proper use of a lightgun. There seems to be an influx of n00b's and confusion on how to properly use a lightgun accessory. Me and my friend Rodringo shall help educate the masses on proper gunstar technique.
This is the basic shooter's style. I probably don't really need to elaborate here. See picture and try to ignore the fact that he has 2 right hands.

Or, for those of us "gangsters", the gun may
be rotated anywhere up to 90 degrees. See picture.
The gun may be held with both hands in a 'double fisted'
grip. A double fisted grip is when you place your non-dominant (blue)
hand over your dominant one (red) while gripping the handle. See picture.
The gun is NOT to be touched with both hands in any
other way. The only exception is to access buttons on the gun (Virtua
Cop 3, Time Crisis home ports.) Rifles, shotguns, and non-handgun (Silent
Scope, House Of The Dead, etc.) are also not covered by this article.
There shall be no gripping the gun with your non-dominant hand and working the trigger with your dominant hand's index finger. I'd like to give you a visual, but I couldn't make an understandable image. Besides, you guys know who you are. This is a form of cheating, not how to fire a real gun, and a good way of wearing out (read as: breaking) the lightgun. Plus, you also look like a complete douche while doing this.
There shall be no holding back the recoil on the guns. For those of you who say, "Oh, it messes up my accuracy! Whinebitchmoan", I hope you never use a real gun. Because guess what? It will fucking kick back. Deal with it. Holding back a gun's slider can break it. On a related note, cocking the guns during a break is not recommended, although I know its so tempting. Just do it in moderation.

Holding the gun with your dominant hand (marked with a 1) while your non-dominant hand rests on the front of the gun so that your index finger (looks more like a bullet coming out of the gun) on said hand can block the barrel of the gun. (Therefore, you are not shooting the screen and you will reload with your gun still aiming where you want it.) This issue is a controversial one. Since this doesn't ruin the gun, I'll say do what you want. However, I personally don't do this since it is a form of cheating and completely not how you use a real gun. (Quick warning to kids at home: DO NOT try this with a real gun! It doesn't work.) At any rate, I don't care how smart it may be; you still look stupid holding a gun this way. I have nothing against this, but if I see you holding the gun like this, I WILL laugh at you. On second thought, don't be such a pussy. Firing off the screen is not much effort people.
