FAQ'S

What do all these choices mean?

On the main/home page, the choices will take you to the info hub for that particular game or series. Click on "Time Crisis" to be brought to the Time Crisis hub. When your choice is part of a series (like Time Crisis), you will get a list of all titles for that series. Just pick the one you want. Not exactly brain surgery, eh? In a particular game's info hub, you have 3 choices: review; overview; and walkthrough. Review is my personal thoughts on the title in question. Game overview is a bit like the instruction manual, as it contains the rules, enemy information, and other things that would just clutter up the walkthrough, and also the cheats (if any.) The walkthrough section provides detailed information and tactics to beat the game. The walkthroughs are rough, and are not meant to tell you every single bad guy that appears, usually just people you shouldn't shoot, powerups, and other tricks.

Are you going to have a section for highscores?

No. This is a game information site, not a bragging right site. (Rhyme not intended.) I couldn't care less about high scores. To me, they are meaningless numbers. Beat a game with the max score? I'm really not impressed. Beat a game without losing a life? I'm impressed, although sometimes the two do go hand in hand. Now, I'd be lying if I said that I wouldn't want to pull of some mad feats, but having fun is my priority. Take Silent Hill. You know how hard it is get a ranking of 10? Forget that, getting a gold for total time is nearly impossible. You really need to know exactly what you are doing at all times, and never stop running. Sure, it takes skill, but it kills the whole vibe of the game. I'm playing a survival horror game, not running a fucking marathon. Oops, got a little off topic there. Still, I have no intention to put in a highscore section.

How about a forum?

I'm just getting started, so maybe. I don't really have the time or resources at this time.

How come your reviews don't actually GRADE a game?

First off, people will always disagree, so why bother? Second, I really don't like to grade games, and I really don't care, actually. As long as it is a lightgun game and it is fun, it gets an A as far as I'm concerned. Of course, it wouldn't mean anything if I gave every game an A, now would it?

Why is Crisis Zone in the Time Crisis section?

Cause it is. Don't argue. And with the PS2 port, Namco has all but officially dubbed it a TC game.

How come parts of the overview of (insert name) 2 are identical to (insert name) 1?

Ooh, you got me. Since the rules of games in franchises don't usually change much, I just copied and pasted much of the information from the other ones. I do notate any major changes.

Hey, can you cover (insert game here)?

Hey, I'm only human. If I don't have a section for a game, it is probably because I haven't played it yet. I'll add games as I dig them up. I do seek out as many lightgun games as I can find.

Can I submit my own information?

Sure. Powerup locations I missed, secret paths I don't know about, maybe you know one of my missing bits of dialog, or have a lightgun review... I don't care about Gameshark codes though. You can easily find them listed elsewhere, and I don't feel like confirming them all anyway. It's my website, so I'll decide whether or not your info is worthwhile.

Why is there a D2/Sonic/Other article on the site?

Well, there are three reasons. First, because its actually what I first had in mind (ranting) when I decided to do a website. I ultimately chose lightgun games to cover, but I just couldn't let em' go. Second, because its a way to 'sucker' additional visitors into the site. Not a lightgun gamer? Maybe you are a Max Payne/Sonic/Whatever fan and somehow came across the page. Third, because it's my site and I'll put up whatever the hell I want. Wait, why am I even explaining myself to you? Go fuck yourself.

I think your site sucks.

I'm sorry, you must phrase it in the form of a question, dipshit. At any rate, I got a few options for you:
A: Do something about it. Go start your own. Or you could send hate mail. I dare ya.
B: Fuck off.
C: A combination thereof.

Good God, do you have a life?

I think it would be fairly obvious that I don't...
