Welcome to Gunstars.net, the place for game information and strategies on a wide array of lightgun games! Like to shoot things? Of course you do, you psycho. This website is a bit rough right now, as it is my first time doing one. As I put more time into my site (of which I have a lot) it will get MUCH better, and then I shall tear this motherfucker up. (Over 5 years later and it STILL looks the exact same!) Enjoy.

Launching coverage of House Of The Dead 4: Special... I gave it its own section since it was originally a seperate game with unique mechanics (it did NOT originally play exactly like #4 like it does in the port) plus it deserves its own review at least and I'd like to keep the columns symetrical. Only the overview and walkthrough are up so far; the review is coming in the next couple days at most (giving myself wiggle room for laziness) and I won't update the front page just to mention it. I'll also be improving the section for #4.

Uh... yeah. The Resident Evil Chronicles games are supposed to come to PS3 as Move titles. I'm happy that this could very well mark a resurgence in light gun styled games. However, you'll notice I inserted 'styled' in there. These games are NOT making use of the Guncon 3 and nobody seems keen to make their own gun. Although the Move has controller add-ons to make gaming closer to that of using a light gun, they have a ways to go before they can rival the precision offered by them. From my experience, the Move's calibration will vary during gameplay, forcing the use of cursors otherwise you have NO idea where your shot's gonna go apart from seeing where your current bullets are going. If they can make the calibration better, I will be fine using gun-like shells containing remotes over light guns. SEGA did it right with their Wii games- I can play without using cursors. TIGHTEN IT UP GUYS. I don't know who or what is to blame; if the Move just isn't as good or if the makers just aren't integrating the controls well enough.
